Private Lesson Teachers will be responsible for decisions regarding the cancellation and rescheduling of any lessons. Teachers will notify students of any cancellations directly. If you have a question, please contact the teacher directly. Please make sure your teacher has your contact information.
MusikGarten cancellations will follow the Waynesboro City School Closings as follows:
- WCS Delayed Opening = No Morning Musikgarten
- WCS Early Dismissal = No afternoon/evening Musikgarten
- WCS Closed = No Musikgarten Classes

VMA offers private artist quality music instruction in piano, organ, voice, guitar, banjo, beginning mandolin, bass guitar, beginning sitar, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, horn,
trombone, baritone, euphonium, tuba,
violin, viola, cello, string bass, drum set,
percussion and mallet instruments.
New enrollments can take place anytime.
• Lessons are offered for all ages and all playing levels
• Private lesson rates are $19.50 for 1/2 hour every week - billed out monthly
• No long term commitments - just a one month discontinuation notice

Valley Music Academy is a private not-for-profit music school serving Waynesboro, Augusta County and Staunton as well as nearby communities. Our mission is to open the door to music by providing quality music education for anyone who wishes to learn. Our organization also provides low to no cost music lessons to young musicians whose families could not otherwise afford them.
