Rock N' Run 5K and 1 Mile

 

Add some Local Flavor to your Run!  

The Rock N' Run wouldn't rock if we didn't give you some great music to listen to.  With the help of the Staunton Music Guild, Downtown Conspiracy, Sun-Dried Opossum and Richard Adams we have put together a great mix of local talent for you to take on your run.  

Rock N' Run 5K and 1 Mile Race

When:    Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 8:30 AM

Where:  Constitution Park

                   215 McElroy Street  Waynesboro, VA


Enjoy a beautiful 5K run along the South River, race day tech t-shirt, fully stocked aid stations, post race party with food & drink. For kids, aged 4 to 10, there will be a 1 Mile race, all racers receive a medal. A portion of your race fee will be donated to help kids who love music.

Proceeds benefit musical scholarships and programs at Valley Music Academy.

Can't make the Race?

Join the virtual race and run your route.  Your race bib, shirt and/or medal will be mailed to your door.  Take pictures of your race and post them to our Facebook page and register your time on our website. 

Prizes will be awarded for top male and female finishers.   You will still support kids who love music and families who need help to foster their kids talents. 

 

Race Packet Pick-Up and Race Day Details

  • Pick up your race packet on Friday July 20 from 4p-7p at Valley Music Academy (500 S. Wayne Ave Waynesboro, VA).  Or come early on race day, registration opens at 7:30a. 

  • Online registration will closes July 20, 2012.  Walk-up registrations will be  at Valley Music Academy (500 S. Wayne Ave Waynesboro, VA) on Friday July 20 from 4p - 7p and at Constitution Park on July 21 from 7:30a - 8:30a.

Online Registration is now closed.  

Walk-up Registration will be Race Packet Pick-up will be Friday July 20 from 4pm - 7pm at Valley Music Academy (500 S. Wayne Ave, Waynesboro, VA) or get up early and register on race day.  Registration will open at 7:30am on Saturday.
