Digital Audio Workstation Beginning Workshop

Next session dates tba...

A digital audio workstation (DAW for short) is an electronic device or application software used for recording, editing and producing audio files such as musical pieces, songs or sound effects. DAWs come in a wide variety of configurations from a single software program on a laptop to a highly complex configuration of numerous components controlled by a central computer. DAWs have a central interface that allows the user to alter and mix multiple recordings and tracks into a final produced piece.

Valley Music will offer a beginning Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) workshop for 8 weeks that will provide the student a basic understanding of digital music creation using Ableton Live 9 software for Windows or Mac. This 8 week class is for students age 17 and up.
